This is a sprouting quartz specimen from the Bor Mine (Bor Pit) in Dalnegorsk. It has many secondary terminations along the prismatic faces, along with druzy formations between the terminations. There is a light amethyst hue to the larger crystals.
Forming a very packed layer over the back of the piece are many rhombohedral calcite crystals. These crystals will fluoresce a pale pink under long wave UV light.
